Immunizations
Immunizations are one of the safest and most effective ways to protect yourself and the people you love from illness. They are one of the greatest success stories of public health. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 4 million deaths worldwide are prevented by childhood immunization annually.
CDC determines the recommended vaccines for children and adults. The vaccine schedules can be found below.

School Required Immunizations
Children are required to be immunized against a variety of diseases for school entry and must have an accurate and updated schedule of immunizations. Health inspectors audit both public and private schools and daycares for compliance. Those children who do not receive timely vaccinations are omitted from school until they comply with New Jersey Administrative Code Chapter 57 Subchapter 4.
Information about school required vaccinations can be found on the NJ Department of Health website.
